This morning, I observed the coverage of a distressing event unfold live on BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, following the introduction of our distinguished guests: Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp, and Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission Mary-Ann Stephenson.
